1) Avoid overtraining at home. It's easy to do especially when you are not in a scheduled routine or are taking the same type of classes or workouts daily. Make sure you vary your workout schedule as you would when you were in the gym and avoid over stressing the same muscles. Remember, for your muscles to properly develop, they need ample rest as well.
2) Form is key! If you are taking my classes, you know that I'll be on top of you!! But if you are working out alone, be sure to watch your form and adjust where needed. Alignment is essential to injury prevention, proper engagement and utilizing the correct muscles in an exercise.
